The awards are aimed at promoting participation in the Congress by young reserachers world wide.

Applicants must be under the age of 35 at the opening date of the Congress, 07 June 2020.
Applications can be done while submitting your abstract.

Travel grant awardees are selected based on the quality of their submitted abstracts, which are ranked by the Abstract Review Committee. Trainees who submit the top 30 to 50 abstracts will be offered travel grants, with the exact number to be determined based on the availability of funds.

Attendance at the session “Residents and Trainee Presentations” on Sunday, 7 June 2019 from 09:00am is mandatory.

The deadline for Travel Award applications is 20 February 2020. A maximum amount of 1300.00 USD for awardees from outside of Europe and 600.00 USD for awardees within Europe (excluding awardees living in Prague or within 50 kilometers distance) is granted.

Travel Awardees living in Prague or within 50 kilometers distance will receive a complimentary registration as Travel Award.

  • copy of passport
  • CV of primary abstract author
  • recommendation from head of your department
